These posters presented work to provide digital access to Vassar’s research collection of historic clothing, for use in the curriculum. This forum at Vassar College provides an opportunity for faculty to share posters about how they are using technology in their classrooms. I have presented at this forum on three different occasions, twice in collaboration with Holly Hummel.
In 2011 I presented “Developing an Online Multimedia Database of the Vassar College Costume Collection.”
(see the list of presenters here: http://pages.vassar.edu/facultyforum/2011-2/2011presenters/)
In 2010 I presented “Digital Dress: Engaging the Vassar College Costume Collection.”
(see the list of presenters here: http://pages.vassar.edu/facultyforum/2010-2/2010presenters/)
In 2006 I presented “Virtual Costumes: The Use of Digital Resources for Students of Costume Design and Fashion History.”
(see the list of presenters and a description of our presentation here: http://pages.vassar.edu/facultyforum/2006-2/2006presenters/)
